  I have friends with a four year old named Willard. The name is coming back. I really like this photo.

  Neat photo. My grandfather was probably about the same age. We lost a lot of pictures from his early years in a house fire. I am so glad to have the few left that I do.

  Those are some sweet shoes. Old photos of family are so stinking cool. It makes you wish you could sit down and hear all the stories from that time in their life. Who were they?

  What a great photo. I like to think that this photo says something about his personality–that he was intelligent, inquisitive, and adventurous–though I don’t know who he was at all.

  That’s a name you don’t hear very often =) I love old family photos with names attached; it’s like having a brief glimpse into the lives of the people without whom you wouldn’t exist. If that isn’t beauty, I don’t know what is.

  I love that photo. It’s hard to say exactly what it is about the photo that is so captivating, maybe that he’s so tall and you wonder what he’s looking at. Something. I don’t know.That’s exactly the kind of old photo I look for in antique shops that I use as inspiration for my paintings.
