We are heavily-involved in packing. I am at the point of putting random things together in our boxes culled from local liquor stores. Spatulas and Barbies can ride in the Absolut Vodka box, slippers and video tapes in Bacardi, family photos, nail clippers, and light bulbs will be found reeking of Jagermeister.
I wanted to say thanks to all of you for your well-wishes as we move into our new home. I’ll write a farewell (for now) post later today or early tomorrow before hubby pulls the plug on our computer. We won’t have internet access for several days.
Just wanted to give you a tip: write down detailed contents lists right on the boxes, it will help sooo much with unpacking! I did a good job on about half of the boxes we packed and that stuff got found and put away right away. The other half – ugh! It took me 3 months to find my bathing suit. I wish I had written on all of the boxes. It doesn’t really matter what you throw together, as long as you label!
