Cookie Monster is enjoying newfound adoration from the tweens and teens in our circle. He’s the It Monster of the moment. When Tommy-Boo’s birthday neared, I knew what cake he’d appreciate more than any other.
The plastic Cookie Monster parts are actually Halloween decorations, meant to be stuck in a pumpkin. Cake is no pumpkin, but it worked well. The best part? The faux cookie has BOO spelled in faux chocolate chips. We’ve called Tommy “Boo” since almost birth. It was meant to be.
The cake was a hit.
