My kids’ school is closed this week due to a positive H1N1 test in one of their schoolmates. We heard the news on Sunday afternoon.
Just as I finished organizing backpacks, peering at finished homework assignments, and grocery shopping for the week of packed lunches, the phone rang with the news…our second spring break was over, but a new week off was just beginning.
It’s the only school closed in the entire state of Colorado.
