NICU—911 prayers needed!

His name is Archer Edmund. We are calling him Archie.

He is very, very sick.

This afternoon, he began grunting and having a difficult time breathing. I told a nurse, who thought we’d run him to the nursery for a quick visit. We thought he was simply worn out from nursing constantly and the c-section.

Before I knew it, he was on oxygen, getting blood gases, CBC, other labs, chest x-rays, and an IV placed. He also has a tube running down his throat to drain air, which was building. As of this moment, we do not know what is wrong with him. It is all so sudden and I am beside myself. I am supposed to be pumping, but I needed to let my friends know this is a true hour of need.

Thank you.

Tea Time For Mr. Baby

Born at 4:00 pm weighing 6 lbs even, still officially nameless. Mr. Baby is here. More to follow tomorrow, including photos and maybe even a name. Thanks for your prayers and thoughts.

Mr Baby Man *ALERT*

Gretchen is at the hospital awaiting the delivery of Mr. Name Yet to be Disclosed. At her appointment this morning it was determined her fluid level was a 3. And so she was sent to Labor & Delivery with chart in hand.

Please pray for Mopsy, the baby, and nervous dad.
