Hey 14

Our oldest son is 14 years old today. Happy birthday to Ryley! He’s a good kid who is on his way to being a good man. He wants to celebrate his day by going to school (no choice), and fine dining tonight. Chili dogs, Cheetos, root beer, and chocolate cake. Hey. He’s 14. While he’s at school living it up, I’ll make a chocolate bundt cake. Maybe after school we’ll do something outside. It’s supposed to be in the 60s today. Winter-born babies don’t often have the chance to celebrate outside without a coat!

Ryley hates wearing coats, which I’ve learned in common amongst young teen boys. Whatevs.
